Control an RC car with your mobile device
Developed by Andi.Co, Bluetooth RC Car is a free utility that allows you to use your smartphone to operate an RC car with a Bluetooth-equipped microcontroller. Of course, you can’t use it with a new car—it has to be modified accordingly.
With handy RC car controls
Using either virtual buttons or the phone’s accelerometer, Bluetooth RC Car allows you to operate any modified RC car. You can also adjust the speed via a slider bar if the car’s control circuit supports that functionality. Plus, the app also lets you turn the front and rear lights on and off.
When the mobile device is connected to the car, a flashing light notifies you, and arrows are lit to indicate the car’s direction of travel. However, as mentioned, the app won’t work with new RC cars. The toy has to be modified beforehand, and the code and control circuit are available online.
Works with altered cars only
Overall, the Bluetooth RC Car app offers an exciting and innovative way to control RC cars using your mobile device. With its user-friendly interface and versatile control options, it enhances the RC driving experience for enthusiasts. However, it’s essential to note that the app requires modification of the car to be compatible with it.
